A week ago I was informed I needed to go to SSS office in Binondo, Manila. I began to worry. With my present condition traveling will be a problem. But if I want to be paid for my extended sick leave, I got to do it. That night I prayed specifically for this. The next day, accompanied by my brother, we boarded a taxi and proceeded to our destination. Once there, my brother tried to assist me and accidentally raised my right hand. I screamed in pain-so excruciating that I began to shake and cry. The security guard came toward us and upon seeing my condition volunteered to call the doctor to see me in the taxi. The kind doctor after seeing my papers interviewed me for less than 3 minutes and approved the sick leave. As we were leaving the area, I prayed silently to God, thanking Him for His mysterious ways-there was no need for me to go inside a crowded building and queue. What just happened was no accident. It was meant to be.

May. I had to praise God for you. Or sasabog ang dibdib ko. I love you kapatid and continue to pray for you
May,
His love continues to amaze us all...What a testimony..and thanks for sharing....
I am now singing the Power of Love....Hold me close , let your love surround me...Bring me near..draw me to your side..
And as I wait, I rise up like an eagle, And I will soar with you, Your Spirit leads me on..with the POWER oF YOUR LOVE....
I love you, May...
May, I appreciate your petite and candid comments each time, this one is inspiring…thanks for sharing.
The Lord indeed works in mysterious ways. I am always so amazed that
He makes His presence known to us even in situations that seem
painful, complicated (ok, even simple), and so ordinary that if you
dont pay attention enough, will just pass you by. He meets us anywhere
we are.
May, I praise God that even in situations like this, you have a heart
that is ready to receive God's special miracles. Just for you, May,
only for you.
Hang in there!
Praise God . He really works in mysterious ways. You are always in my prayers
hi may!
God truly works in so many mysterious ways... and He anticipates our needs. I could just hear Him say....."my child .... your faith is keeping you strong and faithful..." and one of this days... will make you whole.... in more ways than one!
And May, sweet, sweet May…it took me a second reading to understand what you meant to forgive you for "the first response". I now got it…I cry with you…it scared me…you are oh so candid…so human…so like me…praise God we have a Savior...stay as God allows...it' s ok. Give us the privilege to be used by God in loving you…give your Nanay and immediate family the grace to care for your needs…that's a gift from God through your precious life. And this is equally true with you Deb, Mercy and us all who are suffering different kinds of distress in different degrees. Here is a quote from one of God's saints that has blessed so many souls, C. H. Spurgeon : "make sure that you put your complete confidence in Him. Be strong in faith, giving glory to God. Show the world that your God is worth ten thousand worlds to you. Show rich men how rich you are in your poverty when the Lord God is your helper. Show the strong man how strong you are in your weakness when underneath you are the everlasting arms. Now is the time for feats of faith and valiant exploits. Be strong and be very courageous, and the Lord your God will certainly, as surely as He built the heavens and the earth, glorify Himself in your weakness and magnify His might in the face of your distress…"
May our merciful God continue to sustain and encourage each of us through the Holy Spirit in the name of His Son our Savior. Amen.
keep on sharing and praying, …Life is worth a living.... our Savior lives...and He forgives...again and again and again....what a sweet life!!!
" Hang it on the Cross" If you have a secret sorrow, a burden or a loss, an aching need for healing,Hang it on the Cross....
